Yes it can. This can be used on virtually any horse and present positive benefits/results. Not intended for use in pregnant mares, mares trying to conceive or horses with kidney failure.
Our blend is 100% naturally occurring and not made in a lab. The plants in the blend have been used for thousands of years as anti-protozoa remedies. Our blend also rejuvenates the gut and digestive system rather than damaging it, therefore eliminating the need for ulcer medications needing to be separately administered.
It is recommended that you do not mix our blend with traditional RX EPM medications to ensure no chemical reactions happen in the gut of your horse. Mixing herbs with medications can also be harder on the kidneys to process.
It takes the body 90 days to proliferate new red blood cells. Any dietary change will not show the full physiological effects if done for less than 90 days.
During the 90 days this can replace the need for traditional deworming products. You may also use this in synchronicity with traditional deworming products as well. Remember horses are constantly exposed to parasites on a daily basis.
You will see a positive change in muscle tone and demeanor. If your horse has a chronic parasitic infection you may see parasites dispelled in the stool or exiting the body through small round exit wounds. Most horses will show an increase in performance and need less food to keep desired body condition.
Most customers note seeing results starting from 3-14 days. Every horse is different therefore there is no guaranteed period that one should or should not see results.
Most horses will prefer the powder (1 scoop 2x per day) to be mixed with a high quality oil (soy, wheat and corn free) in order to help the powder bind to their feed. You are welcome to mix using any liquid of your choice. You may also feed using and oral syringe. For oral syringe instructions please continue reading below
It is highly recommended that you examine the ingredients label on your current feed. Feeds that contain soy, wheat, grain by-products, or roughage by-products can contribute to gut and inflammatory conditions. It is also recommended that you feed a mineral balancer dependent on the type of forage your horse gets. We love to use Horse Tech High Point Alfalfa or Grass/Mixed. If feeding forage only you can use hay pellets to feed your supplements and EPM Super Dewormer. We do recommend using a B Complex vitamin in conjunction with our blend. B Plex by Horse Tech is ideal.
Due to the Organic Sulfur Crystal content it is recommended to cease the use of MSM containing supplements during the 90 day period. We also recommend halting the use of supplements that contain multiple herbs to ensure no chemical reactions are taking place in the gut.
At this time we have had no adverse reactions or side effect patterns noted. We will continue to take feedback from customers to monitor this subject.
Yes you can continue competition and exercise as normal while using the EPM Super Dewormer.
